What time does the bus service start?

Line 1 departs at 9:00 on weekdays and at 10:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Line 3 starts at 9:45 (Mon–Fri) and 10:45 on weekends. There is no service between 14:00 and 17:00.

Can I pay by card on the bus?

No. Payment is cash only to the driver. Bring coins or small bills as the driver may not have change for large notes.

Which lines does the Nerja local bus have?

The blue bus has 2 lines: Line 1 (circular Centro → Capistrano → Burriana, all year) and Line 3 (Centro → Marinas de Nerja). Both start and end at the Chaparil stop (Hotel Toboso Chaparil).

Does the local bus go to Burriana Beach?

Yes. Line 1 stops at Burriana Beach. In the morning the bus passes on the return leg (at minute :32) and in the afternoon on the outbound leg (at minute :09). Check the exact times at the stop.

Now that Maroween has moved to Sunday 1 November, the Town Council has not said whether it moves to that day: check nerja.es or at the stop before you go.
