Kayaking in Nerja: Maro cliffs and waterfall route
Paddle by kayak along the impressive cliffs of Maro-Cerro Gordo, explore sea caves and reach the Maro waterfall. The star activity in Nerja.
Paddle at your own pace along one of the most spectacular stretches of coast in all Andalucía. From Burriana beach, in Nerja, you head into a coastline of cliffs, unspoilt coves and crystal-clear waters that can only be discovered from the sea. No groups, no rigid schedules and at your own pace: you decide where to stop, where to swim and how long to stay in each spot.
Choose between a transparent kayak —to see the seabed as you paddle— or a traditional kayak, and set course for the small caves along the coast, the Cueva del Lobo and the impressive natural waterfall of Maro, where the water falls directly into the sea. It is the perfect plan for couples, families and nature lovers looking for an authentic experience away from the crowded routes.
