MB Boutique Hotel is a small three-star boutique hotel at Plaza Chaparil 1, in a quiet area on the west side of Nerja: Torrecilla beach is about 250 metres away and the Balcón de Europa about 700 metres (a 10-15 minute walk). It has 26 rooms and one of the best ratings in Nerja: 4.7 on Google and 4.7 on Tripadvisor, with more than 1,000 reviews on each.
The rooftop. This is what guests remember most: a chill-out terrace with two hot tubs and Balinese beds, open until late. The hotel is aimed at couples and short breaks and is recommended for guests over 13.
The rooms. Modern, bright and very clean, with air conditioning, free wifi, a flat-screen TV, a furnished terrace, minibar and coffee maker; superior rooms have a whirlpool bath. They are on the small side, which is the main criticism. Breakfast is a simple continental one, and an afternoon snack is included.
Practical details. 24-hour reception, lift, laundry and airport transfers on request. There is paid private parking in the building and free public parking nearby, which is unusual in the centre.
