Tetería Zaidín is a tea house with a plant-filled patio garden at Calle Granada 16, a step from Plaza Cavana and about 200 metres from the Balcón de Europa. It is one of the best-rated places in Nerja: 4.8 on Google from more than 1,500 reviews and 4.7 on Tripadvisor. It recently moved premises but has kept its usual atmosphere.

What to order. Generous breakfasts, fresh juices, a wide range of teas and coffees and home-made cakes; also filled rolls, sandwiches and, in the evening, cocktails. It is one of the cheapest places in the centre: under €10 per person.

Opening hours. Monday to Friday it opens in the morning (9:00-16:00) and in the evening (from 19:00, Thursday from 20:30, until 1:30). On Saturdays it opens only in the evening from 19:00, and on Sundays from 22:00.
